Padelstars UK is one of the fastest-growing padel operators in the country, with clubs across the UK bringing communities together through the sport we love. Our Taunton site is a thriving outdoor club, and we're looking for a Level 2 Padel Coach who wants to build something special here.
The Role
We're not just looking for someone to run drills, we're looking for a magnet for our community. Someone whose energy on court makes people want to come back, bring a friend, and stick with the sport long-term. You'll be central to growing our Taunton community and building genuine player pathways, from complete beginners through to competitive players.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging, high-quality coaching sessions for players of all levels and ages
Design and run coaching programmes that create clear player pathways — helping members progress, stay motivated, and keep coming back
Act as a welcoming face of the club, building relationships that grow our existing padel community
Support and help organise social sessions, leagues, and events that bring players together off the court as well as on it
Represent Padelstars' standards of coaching and customer experience at all times
What We're Looking For
LTA/PTR Level 2 Padel Coaching qualification (or equivalent)
A genuine passion for growing the game and building community, not just coaching sessions
Strong communication skills and the natural ability to connect with players of all abilities
Resilience and a love of the outdoors, this is an outdoor site, so you'll be coaching in all weather conditions and need to bring energy and enthusiasm whatever the forecast
A proactive, self-starting attitude, someone who spots opportunities to grow the programme rather than waiting to be told
Experience running group sessions, junior programmes, or player pathways is a strong plus
Able to commit to 20 hours per week, with flexibility across evenings/weekends when the club is busiest
Open to part-time employment or self-employed/freelance coaching arrangements
Why Padelstars
Be part of a fast-growing brand at the forefront of UK padel
Real scope to shape and build the coaching programme in Taunton
Supportive team culture across our national network of clubs
Discounted court time
CPD support and clear progression opportunities within Padelstars
