Female Support Worker – JPNT

Female Support Worker Wanted - North Shields (Newcastle FC fan welcome!)

Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Hours: 16 hours per week (including weekends)
Pay: £14.25 per hour

Are you caring, reliable and up for a role that actually makes someone's day? We're looking for a Support Worker to help a lovely lady in North Shields with her daily routine and to get out into the community.

About the role

You'll be helping with everyday activities such as:

• Getting up in the morning
• Supporting with admin tasks
• Assistance with toileting and showering
• Helping with an ankle brace and getting dressed
• Making breakfast
• Light housework
• Supporting community access - appointments, shopping, local trips

And yes... you'll probably be the person she cheers on Newcastle United with!

Who would be a great fit?

We're looking for someone who:

Is reliable, caring and motivated
Doesn't mind a chat about Newcastle FC (bonus if you're a fan!)
Has access to a car - the lady uses a manual wheelchair
Enjoys helping people stay independent and positive
Can work 16 hours per week, including weekends

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 - 4.
