A well-established special school in the Herne Hill area of Lambeth is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join their secondary team.

The school supports students aged 11-19 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, and offers excellent facilities, small class sizes and a supportive senior leadership team who invest in staff development.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons for students with SLD and complex needs
• Work closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants and therapists (SALT, OT, physio)
• Contribute to a warm, ambitious school culture with strong CPD and clear progression routes
• Be part of a school that genuinely knows and celebrates every one of its students

What The School Is Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in a special school, SEN unit, or strong transferable SEN experience from mainstream
• Genuine passion for inclusive, person-centred education
• A patient, creative, and resilient approach
