The Best Connection Reading is currently seeking a Class 2 Dustcart Driver to work for a well-established company in the Waste Management industry. Based in Bracknell.
This role is a temporary to permanent role , meaning after 12 weeks you will be offered a permanent contract.
The role:
Driving a Class 2 Dustcart lorry safely and effectivley
Completing residential and commercial refuse collections.
Working closely with Loaders to complete collections.
Ensuring the vehicle is safe to operate by conducting daily vehicle checks.
To report any incidents or accidents.
Driving in a safe manner
To complete any paperwork required correctly
To represent the company to customers, delivering a professional and friendly service.
Hours and pay:
Monday to Friday, 05:45 - 15:45 (45 hours per week)
£17.00 per hour (PAYE), £25.50 per hour after 9 hours a day.
Requirements:
Hold a valid Class 2 Licence (category C).
Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card.
Customer service.
Good communication and a can-do attitude!
Reliable and flexible for overtime.
Previous experience working in the waste industry (preferred but not required).
