Join Our Client's Team as a Distribution Assistant Supervisor

We're looking for a proactive and hands‑on Distribution Assistant Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day operation of our clients busy distribution department. Working alongside the Distribution Supervisor, you'll help lead the team, ensure customer orders are prepared accurately, and maintain the highest standards of service, quality, and safety.

The Role;

Key Responsibilities;

• Support the daily running of the distribution operation.
• Pick, pack, check, and prepare customer orders, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and free from damage.
• Move stock and materials between factory units and ensure products are stored correctly.
• Assist customers and drivers with the collection and loading of orders.
• Investigate missing items, loading issues, and stock discrepancies.
• Support the Distribution Supervisor with training, coaching, and supervising the team, stepping in during their absence when required.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Provide hands‑on operational support to help the team achieve daily targets and deliver excellent customer service.

• A confident communicator with a positive, hands‑on approach.
• Able to motivate others and work effectively within a team.
• Adaptable and resilient, with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Focused on maintaining high standards of health, safety, and confidentiality.
• Flexible and willing to support the business when additional hours are required.
