Daily or Residential Nanny | Parsons Green

About the job Daily or Residential Nanny | Parsons Green

Role: Residential or Daily Nanny

Location: Parsons Green, London

Salary: Circa £50,000 gross per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 am - 6 pm

Start Date: January

This role is with a warm Parsons Green family who have a happy, loving and bright four year old boy. He is an only child and attends school five days a week, from 9am to 3pm, with private school holidays.

Both parents work full-time in the city and work in the office. The family have had two long term Norland nannies and are looking for someone to join their family on a long-term basis. Both nannies are very happy to speak with prospective candidates and provide references, offering a lovely insight into the family and their experience of working with them (see references below).

The family live in a spacious house in Parsons Green, which is just a five-minute walk from Parsons Green tube station. There are great local parks, local shops, cafés and restaurants and a good selection of children's activities, soft play and clubs nearby.

The role will involve all usual nursery duties, including school runs, preparing healthy meals, supporting homework and school-related activities, organising age-appropriate outings and activities, and keeping the boy's belongings and areas tidy. The family have domestic help, so only duties relating to the child are needed.

The family are open to considering both live-in and live-out nannies. The live-in accommodation comprises a private bedroom and private ensuite bathroom on a separate floor at the top of the house, offering a good degree of privacy. No driving or travel is required. The family are keen to support the nanny to lead the activities and outings they feel would be most beneficial and enjoyable for the little boy.

Comments from the family's previous Norlanders:

Reference 1 - With the family :

"E is an absolute delight; he is super, kind, confident, active, hilarious, clever, determined and has football fever (he always asks to play football at any time of the day!) He is also a really social child, who has lots of friends and is always asking for play dates. He is an absolute pleasure to look after and I can guarantee it will never be a dull day with E around! I will definitely miss this lovely family and I cannot recommend them enough. Any nanny would be so lucky to work for them!"

Reference 2 - With the family :

"I had the pleasure of working with the family for 2 incredible years. The child is courageous, inquisitive and energetic, with a heart full of love, making no day the same and always a joy. They always made me feel part of the family and still do. I am lucky enough to see them regularly and keep up to date with his development and fun adventures! I would be more than happy to speak to anyone interested and can't recommend them enough"
