Electronics Assembly Operator

We are recruiting skilled Electrical Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on technicians who take pride in producing high-quality electronic assemblies and components.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform soldering and crimping of wires, connectors and components to required standards
• Assemble electrical and electronic sub-assemblies following drawings, work instructions and process documentation
• Carry out visual and functional inspections, ensuring finish and workmanship meet quality requirements
• Use hand tools, basic test equipment and fixtures to complete assembly and testing tasks
• Record production data and complete required paperwork accurately
• Adhere to health & safety and quality procedures on the shop floor and contribute to continuous improvement

Required skills and experience:

• Soldering and crimping experience in a manufacturing environment ideally
• Practical experience working to assembly drawings and work instructions
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and consistency
• Able to work as part of a team and follow production schedules

Desirable:

• IPC training (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) would be an advantage
