This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Education or other Humanities disciplines . The successful candidate will join a supportive school environment where high expectations, positive relationships and student achievement are at the heart of the school community.

As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting students to develop their knowledge, confidence and critical-thinking skills.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting extracurricular opportunities where appropriate.

We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities subjects.
• Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting students.
• Works effectively as part of a wider school team.
• Has a genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential.
