Location: Folkestone, Kent

Start Date: September 2026 / ASAP

Contract: Flexible Daily Supply

Pay: Competitive daily rate

We are currently looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors in Folkestone to work across local secondary schools on a daily supply basis.

This is a fantastic option for candidates who want to work in education while retaining control over their availability. You could work regularly throughout the week or simply pick up work on the days that suit you.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when a teacher is absent and supervise students through their scheduled lesson.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supervising secondary school classes
• Ensuring students complete the work provided
• Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom expectations
• Answering basic questions and supporting students where appropriate
• Creating a safe and focused learning environment
• Reporting any issues to the relevant member of staff

There is no requirement to create lesson plans or mark work, allowing you to focus on classroom supervision and student engagement.

Who Might Enjoy This Role?

Cover supervision can be particularly well suited to people who want to explore a career in education, including:

• Graduates looking to gain valuable school experience.
• Aspiring teachers wanting to see what secondary teaching is really like before committing to teacher training.
• TAs and LSAs who want to develop their classroom experience.
• Sports coaches and youth workers who already have experience managing groups of young people.
• Those seeking flexibility who want work that can fit around family, study, another job or other commitments.

Flexible Work That Fits Around You

One of the main benefits of daily supply cover is the flexibility it provides. You can let us know which days you're available, and we'll discuss suitable opportunities with you.

Whether you want to work one or two days a week or are available most days, we're happy to discuss what works for you.

No long-term commitment required.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
