Care Assistant

Our Meallmore team at Culduthel are ready to warmly welcome you as a Care Assistant within their care home. Located in Inverness, Culduthel offers a choice of modern, luxury private ensuite rooms and executive suites that include all modern conveniences and are fully accessible. We provide the highest quality 24 hour personalised nursing care for older people, including the frail elderly and those living with dementia and its related conditions.

Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career whether that be as a Senior Care Assistant or a Senior Care Practitioner, the choice is yours!

If you’re not already working as a care assistant, you will be required to register to the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council), Meallmore will support you with this process.

Your role as a Meallmore Care Assistant will include:

• To promote/provide a high quality of care and support in accordance with Individual care/support plans.
• To assist in creating wellbeing within a caring environment and be involved in the general activities of the home.
• To adhere to Meallmore Standards, Policies and Procedures, National Care Standards.
• To work in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
• Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams.
• Carry out personal care duties.

Desirable skills:

• Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
• SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable.
• Communication and repour building skills.
• Kind caring nature.

Salary :£13.50 per hour+ overtime rates + benefits
