We are currently recruiting for an Outreach Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting individuals within the East Surrey area.

Location: East Surrey - Redhill

Assignment: 3 months

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Driving Licence: Essential

The Role

As an Outreach Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals within the community, helping them maintain their independence, access services and achieve their personal goals.

The role will involve working flexibly as part of a wider support team, building positive relationships with service users and providing person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality, person-centred outreach support.
Supporting individuals with daily living and community activities.
Encouraging independence, confidence and wellbeing.
Building positive and professional relationships with service users.
Supporting individuals to access appointments, activities and community services.
Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
Following safeguarding, health and safety and organisational procedures.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, including two early-morning outreach shifts:

Tuesday: 5:00am - 1:00pm
Friday: 5:00am - 1:00pm

Additional hours will form part of the 37.5-hour working week and will be discussed as part of the recruitment process.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a support work, care or outreach setting.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
A caring, patient and person-centred approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and flexibility.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.
