The Best Connection are recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team.
This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for long-distance deliveries and collections.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Ensure loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with legal requirements.
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
Liaise with transport planners, customers, and site personnel.
Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points
No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Willingness to work away from home during the week (tramping)
