We're hiring an Assistant Footwear Technologist to join a high volume, quality driven UK retailer renowned for its focus on product excellence and customer trust. If you want hands on exposure across the full product lifecycle - this is one of the best learning environments in the industry.

The Role

Working within a Childrenswear footwear team, you'll play a key role from design concept to delivery, partnering closely with Designers, Buyers and Merchandisers to ensure product quality never drops.

You'll:

• Support the footwear technology process across the full critical path
• Drive quality improvements, innovation and best practice
• Approve products and manage suppliers against agreed standards
• Conduct risk assessments and analyse product testing data
• Ensure compliance with performance, safety, legal and sustainability requirements
• Manage in season quality, audits and continuous improvement activity

What You'll Bring

• Experience or qualifications in Footwear Technology
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, construction and performance
• Exceptional attention to technical detail
• A genuine interest in children's footwear and product quality
