Our client is looking for skilled and reliable Sewing Machinists to join their team inKettering . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical sewing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a skilled team.

The Role

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products to the required standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Sewing a variety of materials, including:
• Leather
• PVC
• Ultra Fabric
• Felt
• Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
• Following production specifications and quality standards
• Ensuring finished products meet the required quality expectations
• Working alongside a team of experienced and skilled sewing machinists
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience using a sewing machine – essential
• Basic sewing knowledge and practical experience
• Experience working with different materials would be advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
• The confidence to work independently
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A reliable and hardworking approach

Flexible Working Available

The standard working shift is6:00am – 2:00pm , however, there is flexibility around working hours for the right candidates.

• Standard shift:6:00am – 2:00pm
• Flexible working hours available
• Part-time applicants will be considered
• Site operating hours finish at6:30pm
• No evening shifts beyond 6:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid break
