Graduate Teaching Assistants – English, Maths & Science Leicester | Full-Time | September Start

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join abrand-new school opening in Leicester this September . We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivatedGraduate Teaching Assistants to support students acrossEnglish, Mathematics, and Science .

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or education, offering invaluable classroom experience within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

Working alongside experienced teaching staff, you will:

• Support students in English, Maths or Science lessons.
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Help raise attainment and build students' confidence in their subject knowledge.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities and behaviour management.
• Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a culture of high expectations.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking graduates who have:

• Adegree in English, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related subject .
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, positive and resilient attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience working with children, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or supporting young people is desirable but not essential.
