Tech Support – Broadcast Studios

Do you know your ping from your port forwarding ? Your latency from your load ? We’re looking for someone with strong IT skills and a genuine interest in broadcast studios to help keep our station running smoothly.

This isn’t live gig sound or basic helpdesk stuff – it’s the world of playout systems, audio routing, streaming encoders and all the messy little details that keep a station on-air. If you like solving problems, figuring out why something broke, and making tech behave, this is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Support and maintain our broadcast studios and streaming setup
• Troubleshoot playout software (PlayIt Live), audio interfaces, encoders and networks
• Help us keep shows live and audio quality rock-solid
• Work with the team to improve workflows and studio reliability

What we’re looking for:

• Strong IT skills and technical curiosity
• Some experience in a radio or broadcast studio environment (student, community or commercial)
• A grasp of audio signal flow, network basics and playout systems
• Someone who enjoys problem-solving and isn’t scared to get under the hood

If you’re the person friends call when “the Wi‑Fi’s weird” and you get why sample rate mismatches matter, you’ll fit right in.
