About the Role

As the Pasta Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality fresh and dried pasta dishes, maintaining our exceptional culinary standards at all times.

You will take pride in pasta preparation, cooking and presentation, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across every dish. Working closely with the wider kitchen team, you will contribute to an efficient service while maintaining the standards of product, hygiene, and food safety expected within a luxury Italian restaurant.

Key Criteria

• Previous experience as a Pasta Chef, Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or similar role within a high-end Italian restaurant, luxury hotel, or quality-driven kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of Italian pasta, sauces, cooking techniques, and traditional Italian ingredients.
• Experience preparing and cooking fresh pasta, with knowledge of different pasta shapes and appropriate cooking methods preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on consistency, presentation, and quality.
• Passion for Italian cuisine and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and developing culinary skills.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure during busy service.
• Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain an efficient pasta section.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
