Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a property business to recruit a Commercial Property & Lettings Manager.

This is a varied position looking after a portfolio of commercial properties, taking responsibility for the day to day management of tenancies and acting as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, surveyors and professional advisers.

What you'll be doing

Managing a portfolio of commercial properties
Liaising with tenants and building positive working relationships
Negotiating lease renewals, rent reviews and new lettings
Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor appointments
Managing compliance and property recordsWorking alongside surveyors, solicitors and external agents where required
Monitoring property performance and helping maximise occupancy
Handling day to day property administration and problem solving

What you'll bring

You’ll already have experience within commercial property management or commercial lettings and be confident managing multiple priorities.

You'll also have:

A good understanding of commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship building skills
The confidence to work independently whilst being part of a small team
A practical, proactive approach with the ability to make sensible decisions

Experience of working with commercial property legislation and compliance would be advantageous.
