We are looking for a reliable and practical part-time maintenance worker to support the upkeep of our HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) rental properties.
Hours
Some flexibility required
Availability for emergency call-outs (occasional)
Part-time: 3 days per week
Pay
Minimum wage during the probation period
Pay to be reviewed after successful completion of probation
Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repair work across HMO properties and perform multi-trade tasks, including basic:
Plumbing
Carpentry
Painting and decorating
Minor repairs and upkeep
Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
Identify and report larger issues requiring specialist contractors
Ensure communal areas are left clean, safe, and tidy after work
Multi-trade ability with practical, hands-on skills
Relevant trade experience or work history
Punctual, dependable, and reliable
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Willing and able to respond to emergency maintenance issues
Good communication skills and professional manner with tenants
Right to work in the UK (if applicable)
