Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services across a varied portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within deadlines
• Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients
• Managing client expectations and leading closing meetings to finalise accounts
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team
• Assisting with the implementation of efficient workflows and process improvements
• Ensuring client files and compliance work meet high quality standards
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
• Delivering professional and commercially focused client service at all times

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practice professional looking to take the next step within a progressive and expanding firm.

The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified and will have gained strong experience within an accountancy practice environment.
