Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent Morning & Afternoon Shifts

We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes in the Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent area.

We are a brand-new office in the local community , and we’re looking for caring individuals who genuinely want to make a difference and be part of something new and exciting.

This is a part-time role with flexible shift options:

Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00

Shifts are available Monday to Friday , with alternate weekends required .

Hours will vary as we build up our client base, but if you’re looking to be part of something new, exciting, and growing , then we’re the team for you.

At Home Instead, our visits are at least an hour long. No rushing, just real, meaningful care that makes a genuine difference to someone's day.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting older adults with things like:

personal care and mobility
Preparing meals and hot drinks
Light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
Companionship, conversation and a friendly face
Some visits may include more personal health-related support — we provide full paid training for all of this, so no experience or medical background is needed

No Experience? No Problem!

You don’t need previous care experience — we’ll train, support, and cheer you on from day one.

We’re looking for people with the right values and attitude. For example:

What You’ll Need

Right to work in the UK
Full driving licence and access to a car
Clear English and good communication skills
A warm, patient and caring nature
