Overview

We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support pupils with Autism and EHCPs in a specialist secondary school setting. The role focuses on providing tailored support to help students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with Autism and complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assist with the delivery of lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
Support behaviour management using positive and consistent approaches
Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams

Essential Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting pupils with Autism and EHCPs
Experience working within a secondary school or SEN setting
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Patient, resilient and flexible approach
