We are a small, independent business so you will be required to assist and support the organisation in multiple areas but the primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:* Opportunity to create bespoke commissions* Remodelling pre-existing jewellery* Creating stock to sell from the shop floor* Resizing of rings, general repairs and polishing* Re tipping useful but not essential* Laser repair work useful but not essential* Maintaining and cleaning of equipment and workshop tools* Liasing with shop floor staff on tasks and communicating effectively* Brand ambassador for Picketts and Pursers**Ideal Candidate*** Minimum 3 years experience* Competent jobbing skills* Exceptional eye for detail* Strong work ethic* Ability to work quickly & efficiently* Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills* Team player* Good time-management skills* Great interpersonal and communication skills* Willingness to learn and accept training**What we can offer you*** A rewarding opportunity within a small, independent business* 28 days holiday allowance* Generous employee discount**Job Type**Full time / part time position available**Location**9 Rams Walk, Petersfield, Hampshire.
