Service Care Solutions is seeking a reliable and proactive Mobile Caretaker to join our client’s estate maintenance team on a permanent basis. This role covers Ealing and Acton, ensuring communal areas are maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents.
Responsibilities
Provide cover for caretaking and gardening colleagues across estate sites
Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and graffiti-free
Report repairs, vandalism, and safety hazards promptly
Attend estate walkabouts and contribute to anti-social behaviour reduction
Maintain refuse systems and complete scheduled cleaning tasks
Perform safety checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
Work collaboratively with the Estate Services Area Manager to ensure smooth operations
Candidate Requirements
Full UK driving license (essential)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
Flexible, proactive, and a reliable team player
Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
