Front of House Team Member & Community Development Ambassador - Rochdale, Greater Manchester

At Deuce Padel, we’re creating much more than a place to play sport. We’re building a welcoming, energetic community where people come to compete, socialise, improve their game and feel part of something special.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, and Deuce Padel Rochdale is becoming a key part of that movement locally.

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and customer-focused Front of House Team Member & Community Outreach Ambassador to become one of the faces of our Rochdale club.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives on meeting new people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and enjoys building relationships that help grow a thriving local community.

This is not just a reception role. You’ll be at the heart of the club experience — welcoming players, supporting members, helping the venue run smoothly and using quieter daytime periods to reach out to local businesses, schools, colleges and community groups.

No two days are the same. One moment you’ll be welcoming members and booking courts, the next you’ll be helping promote corporate events, memberships and partnerships across Rochdale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome to every member and visitor.
• Manage court bookings, enquiries, memberships and day-to-day front of house operations.
• Ensure the club always looks clean, welcoming and professionally presented.
• Build genuine relationships with our members and create a friendly community atmosphere.
• Support new players by explaining how the club works, helping them book courts and making them feel confident from their first visit.
• Become an ambassador for Deuce Padel within the local area.
• Use quieter daytime hours to contact local businesses, schools, colleges and community organisations by phone, email and in personto develop new partnerships.
• Promote corporate memberships, team-building events and business networking opportunities.
• Support the delivery of social events, tournaments and club activities.
• Help grow participation and increase awareness of padel across Rochdale and the surrounding area.
• Follow up with enquiries, leads and potential partners to help convert interest into bookings, events and memberships.
• Take ownership of delivering an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through to regular membership.

About You

We’re looking for personality just as much as experience.

You’ll be someone who:

• Loves meeting people and naturally builds rapport.
• Is confident, professional and well presented.
• Takes genuine pride in creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Is comfortable speaking to new people, whether face to face, over the phone or by email.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enjoys working as part of a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
• Is organised, reliable and able to manage a varied workload.
• Can use quieter periods productively and doesn’t need to be micromanaged.
• Has experience in hospitality, leisure, fitness, retail, sales or another customer-facing environment.
• Has an interest in sport and enjoys being part of a growing community.

Previous padel experience is not essential — we’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, energy and people skills.

What We Offer

• Full-time role, 40 hours per week over 5 days.
• A varied role combining customer service, community engagement and business development.
• The opportunity to help grow one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports.
• Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop your career.
• A social, energetic workplace where you’ll meet new people every day.
• The chance to become a key part of the Deuce Padel community.
• The chance to make a genuine impact on your local sporting community.

At Deuce Padel, we believe great clubs are built by great people. If you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences, building lasting relationships and helping grow an exciting sporting community, we’d love to welcome you to the team.

If you’re confident, proactive, people-focused and excited by the idea of helping grow a new sporting community, this could be the perfect role for you.

Apply today and become the welcoming face of Deuce Padel Rochdale.
