London
goeasy Ltd is seeking a Float Veterinary Nursing Assistant in Central London.
VA614 – Float Veterinary Nursing Assistant
We are looking for an integral piece of our veterinary team puzzle, in the shape of a float veterinary nursing assistant supporting our various teams in the Central London region, covering areas such as Hackney, West Ham, Mile End and more.
Our float veterinary nursing assistant role is an ideal position for someone who has extensive prior experience within the veterinary industry, has completed their Level 2 VCA course and may not be in the position to commit to the Diploma training right now.
Being a float position you will help support the various branches within the Central London area where the needs of the rota dictate, this could be covering holiday, days off or sick leave etc. Due to the nature of the float role, flexibility is a necessity.
The VNA role is 40 hours per week and includes a regular Saturday rotation. Prior animal care and client care experience is essential due to the integral support you would be providing to the teams. If you can demonstrate a passion for teamwork, and providing the highest standard of patient and client care you will flourish.
The role is varied, involving a high level of client care which includes reception duties, the cleaning and upkeep of the practice and its equipment/facilities, general administrative duties including processing of insurance claims, and hands‑on patient care where applicable.
This is a challenging industry and profession but hugely rewarding if you are able to give it your full passion and dedication.
If in the future you did wish to pursue your veterinary nurse training, this would be dependent on diploma vacancies within the region, and qualification criteria.
The salary for this non‑training full‑time Float VNA role is £27,268.80 per annum .
In 2022, we celebrated our 70th anniversary and now have 46 branches, three hospitals and our own nurse training college. We value all of our colleagues, and our forward‑looking approach means we have introduced a Colleague Forum to listen to our peers’ views, as well as monthly Town Hall meetings with our board of directors communicating real‑time updates and taking polls with live Q&As to ensure we’re making the right, collaborative decisions for our people. All our senior managers are mental health first aid trained and we offer Wellness plans for all new starters.
