Responsibilities
Assist Head Chef in menu development and kitchen management.
Manage kitchen operations in Head Chef’s absence.
Use fresh seasonal produce to create nutritious, high‑quality meals.
Maintain a warm, efficient, and fun kitchen environment.
Work within budget, complete regular audits, and manage stock control.
Qualifications
Personable and warm approach with genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing.
Hold City & Guilds, NVQ, SVQ or equivalent.
Good understanding of nutrition.
Experience working with fresh seasonal food.
Ability to create a welcoming environment.
Confidence engaging with residents to craft appetising and nutritious menus.
Good understanding of HACCP.
