Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, kind and compassionate individual to provide high‑quality care to elderly people in their own homes in Chingford and North East London. Your role will involve:

• Delivering personal care such as bathing, showering, and providing companionship.
• Assisting with daily activities including visiting coffee shops, hairdressers, hospital appointments, and shopping for weekly goods.
• Helping with housework and ensuring the home is safe and clean.
• Listening to clients’ stories, building trust, and fostering a positive, confidence‑building relationship.
• Communicating with the team and keeping client welfare as the priority.

Qualifications

No specific qualifications are required, however you should be:

• Able to build great working relationships with regular clients.
• Capable of providing supportive personal care such as bathing or showering.
• Comfortable giving companionship and engaging in a friendly and responsive manner.
• Help with housework and maintaining a safe, clean home environment.
• Good listener, gaining trust through conversation and understanding clients’ histories.
• Team‑player, communicating when necessary and focusing on client interests.
