Head of Youth Work & Delivery Partnerships
London
Are you an ambitious and experienced youth work professional ready to lead a large, ambitious service and make a lasting difference to young…
At The Way Youth Zone, we’re here for Wolverhampton’s young people - offering a safe, vibrant space where they can build friendships, get active, and discover what inspires them, shaping their own futures. Through sports, creative arts, life skills, and trusted relationships, we support young people to grow in confidence, overcome isolation, and thrive.
Our team lives by our values: together, honest, energetic, welcoming, aspirational, and youth-led. Whether you're working directly with young people or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a passionate, inclusive team that’s united by heart and proud to make a difference every day.
The Outreach Youth Worker plays a vital role in extending The Way Youth Zone’s reach beyond the building, proactively engaging young people who may not currently access our universal provision. Through trusted relationships, visible community presence, and inclusive outreach activity, the role supports young people to feel welcomed, safe, and motivated to engage with positive opportunities.
Embedded within The Way Youth Zone’s youth‑led approach, the role focuses on reducing barriers to participation, building confidence and social connection, and encouraging young people to take part in activities that support their wellbeing, aspirations, and personal development. Outreach Youth Workers act as positive role models and ambassadors for The Way, ensuring young people are met with consistency, empathy, and respect wherever engagement takes place.
