Oliver James are exclusively representing a leading UK insurer on a Reinsurance Actuary opportunity within its growing BPA team.
This is a transaction-focused role for a Qualified Actuary with longevity pricing experience who wants exposure to the full reinsurance lifecycle - from analysis and pricing through to structuring, negotiation and execution.
You'll work across a broad range of BPA reinsurance activity, including:
The role is technically focused, with a commercial element. You'll work directly with reinsurers and alongside senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to live transactions.
A chance to move beyond a traditional actuarial pricing role and work on varied, live reinsurance transactions within a rapidly developing area of the BPA market.
The team is looking for someone who can make an impact from day one, with the opportunity to broaden their transaction experience and develop towards greater responsibility as the team grows.
