Housing Officer

As a Housing Officer in Leyland, you'll manage housing services and support tenants to ensure properties are well-maintained and issues are resolved promptly. Description

• Provide support and advice to tenants on housing-related matters.
• Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard by coordinating necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Handle tenant queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.
• Manage tenant agreements, including sign-ups and terminations.
• Work with external agencies to provide additional support to tenants where needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all tenant interactions and property updates.
• Support team members with housing-related projects and initiatives.

Profile

A successful Housing Officer should have:

• Experience in housing or property management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy agreements.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of 18.00 to 22.00, dependent on the level of experience.
