Audit Senior

We're recruiting an Audit Senior for our Beaconsfield office to take a leading role in fieldwork delivery across a genuinely varied Buckinghamshire client base. If you're newly qualified and ready to put your training to proper use, leading engagements rather than just supporting them, this is built for exactly that transition.

Why This Firm

This role is part of a top 10 UK accountancy firm and the largest SME-focused practice in the country, a genuinely fast-growing business built through more than a hundred acquisitions and consistently strong revenue performance. It's been recognised by independent industry bodies as a leading UK accountancy growth story, with additional awards for audit service quality and employer standing at a regional level. For a newly qualified Senior, that scale means real variety, client work spanning multiple sectors rather than a narrow niche, plus a clearly structured route onward through Assistant Manager, Manager and beyond.

What The Job Actually Involves

• Heavily involved in audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures, largely on-site at client premises
• Taking responsibility for planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring files are properly documented
• Preparing statutory financial statements from client data, flagging risk areas for partner or manager attention
• Using your own judgement to plan, execute and finalise audit assignments ahead of review
• Beginning to build your own client relationships and take ownership of your portfolio, with manager support

What You'll Need

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification (newly qualified candidates welcome)
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
• Experience auditing clients across a variety of industries
• Some experience coaching or mentoring junior team members

What's On Offer

Hybrid and flexible working, birthday leave, professional subscription fees covered, and much more detailed further in the interview process.
