VodafoneThree# VodafoneThree - Commercial Finance Analyst## Job Description# Commercial Finance Analyst## About the RoleAs a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial performance of the Network function during a period of significant transformation. This position involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver valuable commercial insights that ensure investments maximize value for both customers and the business. You will be at the heart of decision-making processes, influencing outcomes and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.You will partner closely with Network budget owners to guide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. By analyzing risks and opportunities, you will assist teams in making informed decisions. Your role includes facilitating discussions on performance and financial integrity, and delivering actionable business insights through comprehensive reporting and analysis.## Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Network budget owners to provide financial insights and support business objectives.- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across various Network cost areas.- Identify and communicate key risks, opportunities, and savings initiatives to support informed decision-making.- Drive financial performance by holding stakeholders accountable for targets and commitments.- Build and maintain trusted relationships across Finance and Network teams.- Ensure governance and financial integrity by maintaining transparency in forecasts and investment decisions.- Deliver meaningful financial reporting with actionable insights derived from data analysis.- Oversee month-end processes, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.- Contribute to the enhancement of forecasting and reporting processes.- Support the ongoing transformation of financial planning and governance within a post-merger environment.## Required Skills- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights.- Proven experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in complex environments.- Excellent relationship-building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.- Strong analytical thinking paired with sound judgment to identify risks and opportunities.- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work.- Effective communication skills for conveying complex financial information to non-finance audiences.- Relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent experience.## Preferred Skills- Confidence in influencing decisions and fostering accountability.- Experience in a fast-paced, evolving organization undergoing transformation.## Benefits- Competitive salary plus bonuses.- Up to 28 days of paid leave, in addition to bank holidays.- Paid time off for charity work.- Flexible benefits, including discounts, vouchers, and a pension plan.- Access to advanced learning tools and parental leave policies.## Useful Links- Careers: Why You Might Be InterestedThis role offers an opportunity to be instrumental in the financial success of a leading UK mobile network provider during a transformative period.
