We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation in Cambridgeshire seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the finance function and provide strategic support to senior stakeholders during an exciting period for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the month-end and year-end reporting process
Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance
Producing insightful management information and analysis
Driving finance process and system improvements
Business partnering with operational and senior leadership teams
Managing and developing members of the finance team
Sales and margin analysis
Supporting wider strategic and commercial initiatives
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
Proven Financial Controller or leadership level experience
Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
Experience improving finance processes and controls
Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
