Tax & Financial Reporting Manager

JSS are hiring for a Tax and Financial Reporting Manager for a leading Hertfordshire-based leisure company.

This is a permanent role paying circa £65k-£80k plus bonus and benefits package, and supporting 2 or 3 days per week remote working.

This is a hybrid tax / finance position where this person will be the primary point of contact for the tax affairs of the business (covering both corporate tax / direct tax and VAT / indirect tax), as well as leading on the organisation's statutory accounting and reporting processes.

As well as being a crucial role as part of the senior finance team, this person will have opportunity to support on wider commercial finance work, and will have the remit to identify and enact finance/tax process improvements, and will be tasked with being a key business partner.

This is a great role for a tax professional looking to broaden out by moving into a wider finance role (perhaps with the aim of becoming an FD in the future), but equally would suit someone with solid tax experience as part of a wider role who wants to specialize further in tax and be the go-to tax specialist for a fast growing business in an interesting sector.
