Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will work with closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals, serving as both a technical expert as well as a trusted advisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns, including multi-state and consolidated returns, and reviewing work completed by staff accountants
• Client Advisory: Assist in designing tax planning strategies for clients
• Research & Analysis: Conduct technical research regarding federal and state issues
• Team Development: Manage, train, and mentor staff accountants, helping to guide their professional development and growth
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and ensure project deadlines are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelors in accounting, MST is a plus
• Certification: CPA license is preferable
• Experience: 3+ years of tax experience within public accounting firm(s)
• Technical Skills: Strong technical tax knowledge and research capabilities, and experience using CCH Axcess Tax, Document, and Engagement is a plus
• Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
