Finance Manager - maternity cover - lead

This Finance Manager role in the Surrey area is a maternity cover position. You'll be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting key decision-making processes.

Description

• Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risk effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and systems.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the accounting and finance team.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
• Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis within a Group Accounting function
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate of £320-380, dependent on the level of experience.
