Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Underwriter to join a dynamic insurance environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of aviation risks, providing innovative and tailored solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite a wide range of general aviation risks, including private aircraft, corporate aviation, and specialty exposures
Assess and analyze risk submissions, including technical specifications, pilot experience, and operational factors
Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, providing professional guidance and support
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing, coverage, and risk management
Monitor and manage portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines
Requirements
Proven experience in underwriting aviation risks
Strong technical knowledge of aircraft operations, liability exposures, and aviation regulations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of risks.
Professional qualifications (ACII, Dip CII, or equivalent) preferred.
