About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful automotive business based on the Isle of Wight .
This role is ideal for a Management Accountant with previous motor trade experience who is confident producing accurate financial reports, supporting dealership performance and working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts
Produce regular financial reports for senior management
Assist with cash flow forecasting, credit control and debt collection
Manage warranty claims and financial reconciliations
Complete bank reports and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end account preparation
Monitor vehicle sales profit and loss accounts
Control payroll reporting and associated processes
Maintain accurate financial records in line with company procedures
Support continuous improvement of dealership accounting processes
What We're Looking For
Essential
Previous experience as a Management Accountant within the motor trade
Strong understanding of dealership finance processes
Advanced Excel skills
Experience completing VAT returns and statutory reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
Experience using Reynolds & Reynolds / Power accounting systems
