Accounts Senior Manager / Accounts Director

Fleetwood, Lancashire

£50,000 - £70,000

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior Manager or Accounts Director to join a well-regarded accountancy firm in Fleetwood and play a key role in its continued growth.

You will take full responsibility for a substantial portfolio of large, technically complex SMEs and owner‑managed businesses across a diverse range of industries. Alongside managing these important client relationships, you'll lead, develop and support a talented team across all levels.

This is a role for a senior practitioner who enjoys working closely with clients, handling complex accounting and commercial matters, developing people and taking genuine ownership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a high‑value portfolio of complex SME and owner‑managed clients.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior management teams.
• Overseeing technically challenging accounts, tax and advisory work.
• Leading, mentoring and developing a talented team.
• Building strong, long‑term client relationships and identifying opportunities to support their wider business needs.
• Contributing to the continued growth and strategic development of the practice.

You'll be an experienced Senior Manager, Accounts Director or senior‑level accountant with:
