Lead BA (Contract)

Contract Lead Business Analyst - Cheltenham

Rate: Up to £800 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Cheltenham (on-site, with some flexibility)

Clearance: Active eDV required

Duration: 6 months initial, with likely extension

The role

You'll lead business analysis on a high-profile programme in the national security space. You'll own requirements from discovery through to delivery. You'll work with senior stakeholders and steer a small team of analysts.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of BAs
• Run workshops and shape requirements with senior customers
• Translate complex needs into clear, testable outputs
• Work closely with architects, delivery leads and engineering teams
• Keep stakeholders aligned and decisions moving

What you'll bring

• Active eDV clearance (essential)
• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior BA in a complex environment
• Strong stakeholder management at senior level
• Agile and waterfall delivery experience
• Defence, intelligence or government background is a plus
