A well-established Family Law Firm in Winnersh is looking for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join its supportive team. The firm is known for its client-focused approach, professional development opportunities, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in a supportive working environment.
We are open to candidates who do not currently hold supervision accreditation but are willing to work towards obtaining it.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Family Law matters including Non-Molestation Orders, Child Arrangements, Divorce and Private Children cases.
Provide excellent legal advice and client care.
Prepare court applications, witness statements and legal documents.
Manage Legal Aid applications through CCMS.
Support and supervise paralegals and other team members.
Work towards obtaining supervision accreditation if not already accredited.
Requirements
Solicitor qualification recognised in England and Wales
Relevant accreditation for Supervising, or must be willing to obtain
Must have, minimum 5 years PQE
Prior experience working in legal aid (CCMS)
Detailed, organised, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Team player that is willing to help other team members
Confident in using IT and different software
Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
