Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day finance function across the Group. You'll lead and develop the finance team whilst ensuring the business has strong reporting, controls and financial information to support its continued development. It's a good opportunity for an established Financial Controller, or a strong Senior Finance Manager ready to take on broader ownership, who enjoys being close to both the numbers and the wider business.### The roleYou'll take responsibility for:Leading, mentoring and developing the finance teamOwnership of month-end and year-end reportingProducing management accounts and reporting packs for senior leadershipMaintaining strong balance sheet controls and reconciliationsCash flow forecasting, treasury and working capital oversightLeading annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario planningProviding profitability, KPI and commercial analysis to the leadership teamSupporting operational stakeholders with financial insight and decision-makingManaging the external audit and statutory reporting processOverseeing VAT and other statutory returnsImproving finance processes, controls, reporting and systemsSupporting the CFO with wider finance projects and strategic initiatives### What we're looking forIdeally you'll be:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedExperienced at Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar levelComfortable leading and developing a finance teamStrong across both financial and management accountingExperienced with budgeting, forecasting, audit and statutory reportingCommercial enough to turn financial information into useful insight for the wider businessStrong on Excel and comfortable working with ERP/finance systemsExperience within a multi-site environment would be particularly useful, although it isn't essential.
