What you’ll be doing

Owning month-end and year-end across the group, accurate and timely
Producing statutory accounts for all legal entities and running the audit relationship.
Keeping everything compliant with UK GAAP and updating policies when needed.
Overseeing balance sheet controls, reconciliations, provisions and intercompany.
Managing tax reporting with external advisors.
Driving better processes, better controls, better systems, the whole lot.
Leading and developing a small team who’ll thrive with clarity and direction.
Supporting acquisition integration: reporting, controls, accounting treatment, you name it.
Working closely with FP&A and Treasury so statutory reporting actually reflects reality.
Providing technical accounting support across finance and operations.
Getting stuck into system upgrades, process redesign and other chunky projects.
