Do you enjoy working with children and want a role where you can genuinely make a difference every day? Protocol Education is working with a number…
Every school day brings new challenges, new achievements, and new opportunities to make a difference.
We're working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across BS15 that are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Classroom Support Assistants to help pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
Many of the children attending these schools speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) , so additional language skills are always valued. However, the most important qualities are patience, positivity, and the ability to build strong relationships with children from a range of backgrounds.
Whether you're already working in education or looking to transfer your skills from childcare, youth work, coaching, tutoring, or care settings, this could be the perfect next step.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will:
Additional languages are welcomed and can be particularly beneficial when supporting pupils with EAL, though this is not essential.
The schools we work with are known for their welcoming cultures, supportive leadership teams, and commitment to inclusion. You'll join environments where support staff are genuinely valued and where every member of the team plays an important role in helping children reach their potential.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, build your confidence, and make a meaningful impact every day.
Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will be subject to the appropriate vetting and safer recruitment checks.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
