Are you immediately available and looking for a new opportunity with a global food manufacturer? Do you have prior compliance or specifications technologist experience?

Due to an increase in workload, a successful, globally recognised food manufacturer based in High Wycombe are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join their team initially on a 6 month temporary contract. You will work closely with the existing compliance team to ensure compliance across packaging , artwork, labelling and R&D project work. Prior experience in QA/RA/Compliance/Spec Tech within the food industry is essential.

Role Overview

Full time role, Monday-Friday, 6-Month Temp, Hybrid (2-3 days on site in High Wycombe).
£16.50- £23ph - open to a range of experience levels.
Support the existing Regulatory Team and work closely with R&D and other departments to ensure compliance across new and existing products.
Assist with responding to customer queries related to compliance.
Review and approve artwork, labelling and packaging inline with relevant legislation.
Ensure Labelling and ingredients comply with Allergen standards and other relevant legislation.

Requirements

Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology , or a closely related Food Science discipline.
Prior working experience in a similar regulatory compliance role in the Food industry. (Candidates with experience working as a Specification Technologist will also be considered and are encouraged to apply)
Strong working knowledge of European food compliance standards.
Experience specifically with Bakery Wares is highly beneficial.
