The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in business development.

This is not purely a delivery focused recruitment role. We are looking for someone who can proactively open new accounts, build senior client relationships, identify new revenue opportunities and expand existing accounts.

Technology recruitment experience would be highly desirable, particularly across IT, Digital, Data, Cloud, Cyber Security, Software Engineering or Transformation. However, we are also happy to consider high performing recruiters from other sectors who can demonstrate a strong track record of winning new clients, developing accounts and growing revenue streams.

You will have the autonomy to build and manage your own desk, develop new and existing client relationships and deliver recruitment solutions across permanent, contract and Statement of Work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, target and win new client accounts.
• Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand revenue across multiple service lines.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across consulting, technology, public sector and enterprise organisations.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and qualification through to interview management, offers and placements.
• Identify opportunities across permanent recruitment, contract staffing, Statement of Work delivery and wider workforce solutions.
• Develop long term client partnerships through consistent engagement, market insight and a consultative approach.
• Build and maintain a strong network of candidates across technology, digital and transformation markets.
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue and business development targets.
• Maintain a strong commercial pipeline of prospective clients, live opportunities and account growth activity.
• Mentor and support junior consultants where appropriate and contribute to the wider growth of the business.

Key Requirements

• A strong and demonstrable track record in business development, including opening new client accounts and generating new revenue.
• Evidence of successfully expanding existing accounts and increasing revenue streams over time.
• Technology, IT or Digital recruitment experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
• We are open to considering experienced recruiters from any sector where they can demonstrate strong commercial performance, client acquisition and account growth.
• Experience within permanent recruitment, contract recruitment, SoW staffing or a combination of these areas would be beneficial.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities beyond individual recruitment requirements.
• A proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at senior and executive level.
• Self motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of your own market and client portfolio.
• Ability to operate effectively within a fast paced, target driven environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
