G R Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our customer whom are a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics, the position is based in Great Hallingbury. This is a temporary placement but for the right candidate could go permanent,

The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre, Working directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be required to ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. you will be responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time-efficient manner. You will be required to scan and distribute material within the service centre.

Demonstrating excellent teamwork to meet SLAs

Shift Available:

Monday to Thursday 19:30 to 07:30 them on Friday 19:00 to 23:00

Hourly Rate: £13.02 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Process all incoming and outgoing shipments

Scan/process shipments

Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Manual lifting of shipments is required.

Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of shift

Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Job Qualifications

No Experience needed

Security training will be given when required

Security checks:

As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations. This process will include:

A 5-year employment/education history verification

A UK criminal record check

Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata

Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
