ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a leading organisation operating within a complex enterprise technology environment, supporting a large and diverse user base across critical digital workplace services. They are looking for an experienced Google Workspace Support Specialist to provide expert administration and Level 2 support across their Google Workspace environment, helping maintain reliable services and a high-quality user experience.

THE GOOGLE WORKSPACE SUPPORT SPECIALIST ROLE:

As a Google Workspace Support Specialist, you will provide advanced administration and Level 2 support across Google Workspace, resolving incidents and requests while ensuring users receive an effective and timely service.

You will manage Google applications and services, support user accounts and access, and provide expert assistance across Gmail, Google Meet, Google Drive, Google Chat and Google Editors, including Docs, Sheets and Slides.

Working within established ITSM processes, you will manage incidents and requests through Remedy, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and ensuring appropriate escalation where required.

You will also identify technical and ITIL process knowledge gaps, helping to improve support capability and service quality. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide effective support to users across a complex enterprise environment.

GOOGLE WORKSPACE SUPPORT SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace Administration
• Strong experience providing Level 2 Google Workspace support
• Expert-level user support and incident/request management
• Strong ITSM incident management experience
• Hands-on experience managing Remedy tickets and requests
• Strong knowledge of Gmail, Google Meet, Google Drive and Google Chat
• Knowledge of Google Editors including Docs, Sheets and Slides
• Experience managing Google applications and services
• Experience with account and user management
• Ability to identify and flag technical knowledge gaps
• Ability to identify and flag ITIL process gaps
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 / Global Email
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure
• Good reporting and case management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
