We are looking for an experienced Commercial or Construction Solicitor to provide legal support across a range of strategically important construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.
Location: Farringdon – 2 days per week
Duration: 5-month FTC
Key Requirements
Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK .
Around 5 years PQE , although candidates with relevant experience outside this range will be considered.
Strong experience in construction and/or commercial contracts .
Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and construction agreements .
NEC/NEC4 experience highly desirable.
Experience with IT contracts, professional services, supply and service agreements is advantageous.
Experience in utilities, infrastructure, energy or public procurement is desirable.
Ability to advise on contract interpretation and disputes .
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice .
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior managers and directors .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
In-house experience is preferred but not essential .
